Why New Destiny?

The Problem

Colorado faces a crisis: 5,000+ individuals on developmental disability waitlists, 10,000+ experiencing homelessness, services fragmented across agencies. Small providers struggle with capacity.

Our Solution

New Destiny provides integrated mental health, housing, and case management services while simultaneously strengthening the PASA provider network through consulting, training, and operational support.

Our Difference

We partner WITH (not compete with) PASA providers. Dual impact: better outcomes for individuals with complex needs + stronger provider capacity across Colorado.

By Year 5, New Destiny Will:

250

Individuals served with coordinated care

90

PASA providers supported

30%

Homeless recidivism rate (down from 70%)

$4.9M

Our Founding Story

After 25 years as a corrections officer managing individuals with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities, our founder recognized a pattern: the right environment transforms lives. Many individuals faced not just developmental disabilities but co-occurring mental health challenges and housing instability. Traditional systems addressed each issue separately, creating gaps, duplication, and frustration.

Launching Rocky Mountain Day Service demonstrated the PASA model works—generating $600,000 annually in sustainable operations serving individuals with developmental disabilities. But success revealed a critical gap: individuals with DD + mental health + housing needs fall between systems. PASA providers excel at developmental disability services but cannot provide mental health therapy or housing navigation (different licenses, clinical staff, expertise required).

New Destiny fills this gap through a dual approach: providing integrated mental health, housing, and case management services that complement PASA developmental disability services, while helping families become PASA-certified providers and supporting small providers with consulting and back-office services. By partnering WITH PASA providers rather than competing, New Destiny creates a true continuum of care.
